Google API Limited Use Disclosure

SyllabusSync.ai complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our access, use, storage, and sharing of data received from Google APIs is governed by the following principles:

1. Use Limitation
   • SyllabusSync.ai only uses Google user data to deliver and improve core features that allow users to upload syllabi, extract key dates (assignments, quizzes, exams), and sync them to their Google Calendar. This data is not used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the service.
2. No Unapproved Transfer
   • We do not transfer, share, or sell any user data obtained through Google APIs to third parties, except as required to operate SyllabusSync.ai's core services and only with the user's explicit permission.
3. Data Access and Storage
   • Access to user data is limited to the minimum necessary for functionality. All user data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by security best practices.
4. Transparency and User Control
   • Users are informed of the data being collected, how it is used, and are given the ability to revoke access or delete their account and associated data at any time.
5. Compliance and Monitoring
   • SyllabusSync.ai actively monitors its use of Google APIs to ensure ongoing compliance with Google's Limited Use policy and other applicable data privacy regulations. Any future changes to our data use will be clearly disclosed in our privacy policy.
